The PRCA Communications Conference covered the topical discussion ‘When is a crisis not a crisis and at what point should we seek a media lawyer?’ Chris Greany from Templar Executives joined an expert panel to discuss the importance of defining a crisis, the veracity of social media claims and the potential impact on reputational damage. Templar Executives partnered with V.Ships to present at the International Seaways Crew Conference 2019 from 22-24 October in Manila, Philippines. With 90% of cyber incidents attributed to human error, upskilling crew and staff is crucial in developing cyber resilience. The interactive presentation from Templar Executives’ MCERT team demonstrated how crews and vessel operators are increasingly exposed to cyber threats with a live hacking demonstration and also explained best practice guidance for developing a cyber safe environment.
